April 05, 2002Craig's FAR Update 2002/4/5:
Another Tough Day in Paradise
That was actually a line from one of the guys at yesterday's men's day gathering, but it applied just as well again today. Both days were featured absolutely splendid spring skiing with lots of nicely roasted corn and hero turns. A high very thin cloud layer today did not seem to slow down old Sol's cooking a bit and if anything some spots might have been a tad over done. Still Snake, Boomerang, Sunny Side and the Currie Chutes were all great. Despite the delightful conditions, there certainly were no crowds out there.
There really isn't much to add other than the weather man is calling for clouds and showers tomorrow and while he has been overly pessimistic all week, it does seem to be getting grayer. :-(
At 15:30 it is 9 C on the porch and now partially cloudy.
