In true Fernie fashion, the 10 promised centimeters of snow turned into 2 to 4 centimeters of slush in my driveway this morning. When I went to bed a bunch after midnight last night the temperature hard crept above zero and it was hard to tell if it was still snowing or starting to rain. Morning made it clear that rain had won at some point, although all precipitation had stopped.

Still this isn't all bad since the heavy crud will probably pack down into a decent base at the bottom and the trees are nicely white above about the top of the Deer lift.

A general shot from the ski hill road was as ambitious as I was likely to get today. Note the snow line.
