It wasn't much of a snowfall last night, but I have promised the increasingly desparate folks emailing me that I would report any changes promptly.
As you can see, there wasn't quite enough to cover my grass, so I don't expect the cat drivers will see much overtime on the lower mountain just yet. It is also quite warm - just about the freezing point at 11:00 A.M. When I took this picture a few minutes ago it was misting slightly, but that has now changed to a light wet snow. Rain feels like a definite possibility. :-(
Still it looks more encouraging and the forecast is for
flurries (or showers) for the next couple of days. At the very
least this will improve things on the upper mountain.
