Craig's Report - November 20, 1996

Lots of Snow :-)

The ski hill put out a press release this morning claiming that there is too much snow to open this weekend and so all that will be open will be the Deer and Mitey Moose beginner lifts. While there is undoubtly a little bit of marketting going on here, there is at least some truth to their claims. Certainly all the people I have talked to who have been up the mountain agree that only the steepest runs are skiable do to the powder depth.

Although the schools were closed today, the snow has stopped for now and on occasion the sun even tries to peek through as it did when I took these pictures.
